HABILITATION & RESPITE SERVICES

           HABILITATION

RESPITE

Habilitation is crucial for developmentally delayed children and adults as it provides the necessary tools and support to enhance their potential, foster independence, and promote overall well-being. By addressing individual needs through tailored interventions, habilitation empowers individuals to improve essential life skills, build confidence, and engage more fully within their communities.

The structured environment and professional guidance aid in personal development and help families navigate challenges, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and enriched life. Embracing habilitation means investing in a brighter future for those we care about and unlocking doors to opportunities that may seem out of reach.

Respite care is a service that provides short-term care and supervision consistent with the health needs to supplement care and provide a safe living environment and/or to support relieve caregivers for the person's benefit.

Services are provided as a planned or unplanned non-routine interval of rest and/or relief to a family member or other unpaid person who resides with and provides ongoing care for a Division member.
